Atlas Diesel & Automotive was built around experience, diagnostics, and doing the job right.
Located in Lakeland, Florida, Atlas provides complete gasoline and diesel automotive repair for cars, SUVs, pickups, vans, light-duty diesels, and select medium-duty commercial vehicles.
Although the Atlas name is new, the experience behind it spans more than 25 years in automotive repair, diesel service, diagnostics, shop management, and business ownership.
More Than 25 Years of Automotive Experience
Atlas Diesel & Automotive is led by Darren Robinson, an automotive technician, shop operator, and business owner with more than 25 years of hands-on industry experience.
Darren's background includes everything from advanced diagnostics and engine repair to diesel systems, shop operations, technician management, and customer service.
Before opening Atlas, Darren owned and operated Rush Diesel & Automotive in Utah, where he spent years building a successful repair business serving gasoline and diesel customers throughout Northern Utah and beyond.
The shop developed a strong reputation for diesel diagnostics and repair, with customers traveling from surrounding areas for specialized work that was difficult to find closer to home.
Before owning Rush, Darren also worked in automotive management and operations at Jay's Tire Pros in Bountiful, Utah, helping oversee shop operations, technicians, service growth, and customer experience.

With more than 25 years in the automotive industry, Darren has worked as a technician, manager, shop operator, and business owner.
His experience includes gasoline and diesel repair, advanced diagnostics, engine work, diesel fuel systems, electrical troubleshooting, and automotive shop operations.
After years of owning and operating a successful automotive and diesel repair business in Utah, Darren brought that experience back to Florida to build Atlas Diesel & Automotive.

Vitoria manages the administrative and financial side of Atlas, including front-office operations, bookkeeping, payroll, and business management.
Serving Lakeland and Central Florida
Atlas Diesel & Automotive is located in Lakeland, Florida, serving drivers, diesel owners, businesses, and fleets throughout Polk County and the surrounding Central Florida area.
Our Lakeland location allows us to serve customers throughout the Tampa–Orlando corridor while remaining focused on providing professional, in-shop automotive and diesel repair.
